Google Request Indexing
Submit URLs to Google, then read the real verdict on whether they were actually indexed.
Submitting a URL to Google tells you nothing about whether Google kept it. Request Indexing history now shows the real verdict for each submitted URL — confirmed indexed, not indexed, or unknown — read from URL Inspection.
How the Status Is Read
- It reads from a local cache first, so it never spends inspection quota re-checking a URL it already knows.
- URLs it has never seen are checked once, automatically.
- Every row has a manual re-check when you want a fresh answer.
- A running summary reports how many of your submitted URLs are confirmed indexed.
"Unknown" is a real answer here, not a failure — it means Google has not given a verdict, and the app says so rather than implying success.
Import URLs in Bulk
Both Google Request Indexing and IndexNow can load a whole batch of URLs instead of you typing them in.
From a file — one URL per line, or CSV/TSV cells. Quotes, a header row, blank lines, and comments are tolerated.
From sitemaps — paste one or more sitemap URLs and pull every same-host page they list, following one level of sitemap index.
Results are merged, deduplicated, and dropped into the queue for review before you submit anything.
What Got Skipped, and Why
An import lists the URLs it could not use with a short reason each — not a valid address, outside your site — with a copy button, instead of a bare count.
Sitemap loading fetches at most three sitemaps at a time with one retry on a stall, shows live progress, offers a retry button for just the failures, and calls out a sitemap that answers but lists nothing rather than counting it as empty.
Limits
Google's Indexing API and URL Inspection both have daily quotas tied to your Google account. Requesting indexing asks Google to look; it does not guarantee that Google indexes or ranks the page.
