Facebook Page Setup

Create a Meta app, grant Page permissions, add the OAuth redirect, and connect a Facebook Page in 1MarketingTool.

Facebook Page publishing uses your own Meta app. Keep the app in Development mode if you only post to Pages you administer. App Review is only needed when you want other people's Pages to authorize your app.

Use this redirect URI exactly:

https://oauth.1marketingtool.com/cb

1. Create the Meta App

In Meta for Developers, create a Business app and fill in the app name and contact details.

2. Select the Page Use Case

Open Use cases, choose Manage everything on your Page, and connect the app to the business portfolio when prompted.

Customize that use case.

Add these permissions: pages_show_list, pages_read_engagement, and pages_manage_posts.

3. Add the Redirect URI

Open Facebook Login for Business -> Settings.

Paste the redirect URI and save changes.

4. Copy the App Values

Open App settings -> Basic and copy the App ID and App Secret.

If you manage several Pages, you can also copy a Page ID for mapping later. 1MarketingTool can otherwise pick from the Pages returned by Facebook.

5. Connect in 1MarketingTool

Paste the App ID and App Secret into the Facebook Page channel, save, then click Connect with Facebook.

Approve the login and select the Pages 1MarketingTool can access.

6. Optional App Review

Stay in Development mode for Pages you administer. Submit App Review only if you need users outside your Meta app roles to connect their Pages.

Notes

  • Facebook tokens are extended to roughly 60 days. Reconnect when the app shows the token is near expiry.
  • The publisher can post text, images, albums, and videos to a Page.
  • Project-to-Page mapping is handled inside 1MarketingTool after the account is connected.
