WordPress Setup

Create a WordPress application password and connect your site URL, username, and password to 1MarketingTool.

WordPress publishing uses the WordPress REST API with your username and an application password. Do not use your normal account password.

1. Create an Application Password

Log in to WordPress, open Users -> Profile or Edit Profile, then scroll to Application Passwords. Add a new password for 1MarketingTool and copy the generated value.

2. Paste the Values

In 1MarketingTool, open the WordPress channel and enter:

Site URL, such as https://example.com
WordPress username
Application password

Then save and test the connection.

Notes

The first line of the post becomes the WordPress title.
The current publisher creates live posts through /wp-json/wp/v2/posts.
Attached images and videos are not uploaded automatically in the current WordPress publisher.
