Hashnode Setup

Connect a Hashnode Personal Access Token so 1MarketingTool can publish articles to your publication.

Hashnode publishing uses a Personal Access Token. The token is stored locally and used to sign GraphQL requests when 1MarketingTool publishes.

1. Create a Personal Access Token

In Hashnode, open Account Settings -> Developer and generate a new Personal Access Token. Copy it immediately; Hashnode shows it once.

2. Paste and Test

Add the Hashnode channel in 1MarketingTool, paste the token, and choose Test.

Test signs you in, names the blog it will publish to, and fills in the Publication ID for you when the account has a single blog. You only need to paste an ID yourself if you run several publications.

3. Confirm the Publication

If your account has more than one blog, paste the Publication ID of the one you want to publish to, then save and test again.

Requirements

Hashnode gates its GraphQL API behind an active Pro plan on the publication. Without it, publishing is rejected — this is Hashnode's own restriction, not an app limit.

A rejected token is reported as a rejected token. If you see a message about the Pro plan instead, the token is valid and the publication needs the plan.

Notes

  • The first line of a scheduled post becomes the Hashnode article title; the rest is the markdown body.
  • Posts are published live.
  • Text and markdown only — attached images and video are not uploaded.
  • Hashnode does not document a public API for creating post comments, so follow-up comments are unavailable on this channel.
  • Treat the Personal Access Token like a password.
