Ghost Setup

Create a Ghost custom integration and connect its Admin API URL and Admin API key to 1MarketingTool.

Ghost publishing uses a custom integration. The Admin API key is stored locally and used to sign short-lived API requests when 1MarketingTool publishes.

1. Find Custom Integrations

In Ghost Admin, open Settings -> Advanced -> Integrations and choose Add custom integration.

2. Name the Integration

Name the integration something clear, such as 1MarketingTool, then create it.

3. Copy the Fields

Copy the Admin API URL and Admin API Key. Paste both values into the Ghost channel in 1MarketingTool, then save and test.

Notes

  • The first line of a scheduled post becomes the Ghost post title.
  • The current publisher sends text or HTML content; attached media is not uploaded automatically.
  • Treat the Admin API key like a password.
