The first draft is rarely the one you post, so you rewrite — and the moment the new version lands, the old one is gone. If the rewrite overshoots, there is nothing to fall back to except your own memory of what the copy used to say. Versioned rewrites make regeneration non-destructive: every take is saved beside the original, so you can try a sharper hook, a shorter CTA, or a different angle and still switch back if the earlier version was better.
How it works
From open to result in a few steps
Open the rewrite modal
From Campaign results, choose Re-Generate with AI on any piece to open “Generate another piece” for that channel.
Pick a regeneration method
Choose “Fresh variation” for another take from the same campaign context, or “Adjust with prompt” to say exactly what to change.
Choose the AI for this rewrite
Use “CLI AI for this rewrite” to pick any detected local agent for this run only. Generation progress streams a live draft and timestamped logs.
Switch between versions
The finished take is saved as a new version. Use the version dropdown on the piece to compare it against earlier versions or the original.
