Per-Account Generation Control

Choose which connected accounts a campaign writes for, one switch at a time. Each account in New Campaign has its own Generate switch, so a channel serving three accounts can produce pieces for two of them and skip the third — and the piece count and cost estimate follow the switches.

Per-Account Generation Control

Why you need this

How it changes your marketing workflow

Connecting every account you own used to make every campaign bigger. Select a channel and each account under it got a piece, whether the campaign suited that audience or not — so you either generated content you would delete, or you left the channel out of the campaign and posted that one account by hand. A per-account switch makes the campaign match your intent: the accounts that belong in this launch generate, the rest sit it out, and the estimate you approve counts only the work you asked for.

How it works

From open to result in a few steps

1
1

Open a channel's settings

In New Campaign, a channel serving more than one account lists them under the channel defaults, in an Accounts section headed "Choose which accounts generate content."

2
2

Switch off the accounts sitting this one out

Every account row carries its own Generate switch, on by default. A switched-off row reads "Skipped for this campaign" in place of its language and format summary.

3
3

Check the count before you generate

The channel row shows the enabled count as "2/3 accounts", and the pre-flight estimate counts outputs and tokens only for accounts that will actually run.

4
4

Leave it saved with the draft

The choice persists with the campaign draft, so reopening it later keeps the same accounts sitting out. Switching every account off skips that channel entirely.

Without 1MarketingTool

The old, fragmented way vs. one local app

The hard way

Select the channel and every connected account gets a piece
Generate for accounts you never meant to publish to
Delete or ignore the extra pieces afterwards
Or drop the channel entirely and post that one account by hand
Re-derive which accounts you meant every time you reopen the draft

The 1MarketingTool way

Every account has its own Generate switch, on by default
Switch off the accounts sitting this campaign out
The channel row reads "2/3 accounts" so you see the real run size
The pre-flight estimate counts only the accounts that will run
Switching every account off skips the channel, and the choice saves with the draft

Why it matters

The payoff of having distribution built into your workspace

Two audiences, not one compromise

A company Page and a personal blog can share a channel without having to share every campaign.

Pay only for the pieces you keep

A skipped account is never generated, so it costs no tokens and leaves nothing to delete afterwards.

The estimate tells the truth

Output counts and token projections follow the switches, so the number you approve is the number you receive.

No hidden run size

The channel row carries the enabled count, so a campaign cannot quietly grow every time you connect another account.
